Authorizations are managed via the Administrator Accounts. An administrator can grant themselves and others rights, take away those rights and set up new accounts.
This authorization should only be granted to users who are to have full access to all objects and actions in the UMS.

Below, you will find a list of authorizations that can be given to individual administrators or groups. Each authorization has three possible states: Not highlighted, Allow or Refuse.
Authorization management may be performed.
Firmware versions can be imported, exported and removed from the database.
IGEL firmware licenses can be allocated to thin clients.
The event and message log may be viewed if Logging is enabled.
The user is authorized to add, modify and delete files in the directory /ums-filetransfer/.

Snapshots for IGEL thin clients can be registered on the UMS server and removed again.
The network can be scanned for thin clients, for example if they are to be registered on the UMS Server.
The UMS Server cache can be viewed, updated and deleted.
Public holidays can be defined in order to plan tasks.
Planned tasks can be assigned to various hosts.
The SQL Console may be run. Warning: The SQL Console can cause considerable damage to the database.
Database and server log files can be exported for support purposes.
